July and August, when temperature in the city averages 35-40 C. The city
showcases Europe’s highest of mountain, with the Sierra Nevada as the
primary mountain range.

mix of tropical plants growing in places a little shy in distance from
the alpine slopes. Animal life in the city is also diverse due to its
geographic location.

which includes the awe-inspiring
Alhambra, built in the 14th century by
the Nazari (Nasrid) dynasty, the last Moorish and Muslim dynasty to rule
in Spain. This compound of buildings includes the Generalife, a summer
palace, which stands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Other
